The power of Cloud computing realised today - Crusader Kings 2 on my Macbook Air, a game that has no hope of playing on it normally. Screenshot for proof.
I did it using the new Amazon G2 Nvidia instances ( https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/ordering?productId=e0e7f1f9-4a16-4477-8fd0-df949f1b8947&ref_=dtl_psb_continue®ion=eu-west-1
It means I have my own private GaaS platform, and could theoretically mean I can play any Windows game on my phone, Macbook etc. if it has good broadband connection.
I then just need a URL for my game and instance. It costs about $0.76 per hour, (£0.46, 4 DKK) which I think is pretty reasonable.
