The battery usage of my nexus 4 is to high. I wonder why the android system has so much battery consumption . Better Battery stats says that it needs 8,3% per hour but I can't find the reason for this. Do you guys have any idea ? I'm on stock 4.4.2 ROM and not rooted .
Check my other three messages I left for you, sorry I didn't find before the way to address you directly. Follow those hints, they apply to all Android devices. However your image here shows a normal behavior, after 3 hours you hd 71% of battery left which isn't bad, at that same drain rate your battery should have lasted around 10 hours. As for the Android system and the display showing the most usage, that's normal and what to be expect. Android is an GUI on top of Linux as Operating System and it's .normal that it uses most of resources, and the display next because precisely the GUI uses most resources that sending data to the video display chipset. Install an app to kill apps left in the background like Advanced Task Killer and set to auto kill unused apps, added to my hints on my other three messages and you'll have longer battery times per charge.
