Chili's
Zahhar, Beirut
So overpriced you'll wonder if it's actually a Chili's.

There aren't a lot of places in Beirut that serve quality Lebanese food in a well designed room. Abdel Wahhab is always delicious and very well priced. They also deliver!

This is one of those gems. A small hole-in-the-wall that does one thing exceptionally well. If you like man'oush of any kind, you will always be grateful that this place exists.

Way way way way way overrated and overpriced. It's a holdover from the days of Lebanese falling in love with everything Parisian. The quality of the steak is quite poor, and the sauce which everyone raves about is not great. It's just good. The only other thing on the menu is fries. Meh.

Introduction
Well my twitter descriptions says that I'm a politics freak with a shaved head. But that just won't do when G+ gives you oodles of space to toot your own horn.

I was born in Brooklyn but grew up in Lebanon. When I was kid during the Lebanese civil war electricity was a rare treat and consequently my siblings and I grew up with a severe lack of exposure to technology, pop-culture and of course a functioning political system. I think that's why right now, I'm a freak for all the above.

At all times I will be excited to talk to you about tech and Intertoobz and how I was one of the first people in my college to have a working 9.6k dial-up connection on a Mac II LC. During election years you will be hard pressed to get my conversation away from the latest Rep vs Dem smackdown. As for pop-culture, my guru mentor +Brad McRorey will be final judge.

I love Mac products (of course) and I'll go semi hipster and say we've had a Mac since 1984 and the seminal ad. (PS I don't like hipsters).

I lived in Sydney, Australia for ten years. Australia, in my opinion is the greatest country on earth. I pretty much love everything about it and Aussies except for Pauline Hanson, John Howard, the plight of aboriginals and the fact that Oz is the world's biggest polluter per capita.

I'm gonna copy some stuff from my facebook profile now...
