Not Kenny & The Cadets - this title was recorded by The Beach Boys February 8th 1962. The Kenny single was "Barbie/What is A Young Girl" (recorded exactly one month later) and the "band" was Brian, Carl, mom Audree & Alan (who had left by that point). Val Poliuto of The Jaguars claims to have been on it as well.

Slight correction: only the title track was produced by Jim Studer & Curt Becher. The rest of the album is produced by Curt alone.

Also, Brian produced the basic track for "Be My Baby" in summer 1980, plays keyboards and sings bvs.

Recorded summer 1972 while the band were in Holland... and it sure sounds like Alan to me.

PS: not Brian's first solo gig by a good 18 months. :-)

Caption is wrong - this track wasn't on the original 1977 release, but rather the 2008 expanded reissue.

Great video.

That's not a demo, it's The Beach Boys live on the Grand Gala du Disque TV show in Amsterdam, Holland, February 25th 1972.

Incorrect info - there are precisely zero Beach Boys on this track. Recorded 31st July 1964, on which day the band were traveling between Reno and Oakland.

That's "live" as in "live in the studio when he was recording the demo". Misleading description and unnecessarily so.

Not live, not the BB - t'was a 'bonus' track on a very, very rare live album called "Rockin' 4th of July" from 1985 or 86. Billed as Mike Love & friends.
