Round Watch Faces  -

I actually have this watch still. Battery is dead. I simply took a photo of it. Haven't done anything extra with this watch face yet but thought it was kind of funny. Now this is the original smart watch. You actually downloaded info into it by holding it up to a old CRT monitor! And then the CRT screen would flash rapidly. I can try uploading the watch face somewhere if someone actually wants it.

Got a question.  I've tried the curved text to display appointments but it definitely doesn't always display as it shows in the phone app.  Seems the problem occurs when I align left or right.  It ends up looking great on the phone app, but on the watch its completely different, sometimes off the screen, sometimes shifted wildy.  Any ideas?

Almost insulting to current owners of previous surface products. I have the surface pro 2 256gb 8gb and love it. While it would be nice to have a pro 3, there's no way I'd use this offer. What are they thinking?
Good until March 8, the deal lets you trade in an older Surface tablet toward the purchase of a new Surface Pro 3.

I just saw a post somewhere that SP4 could be out in July. Maybe I can trade my 3 for a 4 ☺

Watching a recording of the Dallas Lakers game. Sssshhhhh. Don't tell me who wins. But Dallas better win. I'm a Houston a fan. Go Rockets. Kinda wish they both could lose. But Dallas at least is Texas! Love Colorado but I was there for the 94 95 Rockets Championships.

M8 case question: Does anyone know of any cases that are fairly minimal and don't have a "lip" on the sides.  I tend to use my m8 without a case.  I have one case and mostly like it but the "lip" on the sides has always been an issue for me on any phone.  I like to be able to swipe in from the sides easily.  On the m8 its even more of a problem with such a small bezel on the side.  I think something like the dot view case without the cover is what I'm looking for.  Would like the protection on the corners and a good grip on the back, but nothing on the sides.

I'm using the latest on the playstore and the notification can't be dismissed even if media isn't playing.  Is there a fix for this.  Not sure what settings to try on the android app.  I have 'display notification' and 'persistent notification' on.

I was sure I tried that but haven't the time right now.  Even with persistent notification off, I couldn't get rid of the notification.  I'm afraid I'm going to have to uninstall for a while.  I'll try installing another time and see if I can use the 'dismiss this notification' button when swiping right to left (a few times).

Does anyone know of a watch face that is rotated a bit?  It seems to me that one of the most natural things would be to rotate the face a bit since when you pick up your wrist naturally, its never really at an angle where the watch face is in direct alignment with your view, if that makes sense.

Yeah.... Sounds totally feasable as you can get feedback for steering games so no reason shouldn't be able to with face..... Trying to work out how to turn off wake lock on wear.... PITA

Maybe a discussion should be started about what users would like to do but can't because they can't root their note 3. Here's my partial list: 1) add a (custom) navigation bar, 2) remove TW and generally use a custom ROM that speeds things up considerably, 3) tether, 4) double tap screen to turn on/off, 5) add active notifications similar to moto x, 6) slide from corner to size/window (any) app (feature on note 4 I believe), 7) quicker way to bring up (any) app in sized window (like to quickly check calendar; also a feature on note 4 I believe)

No one has figured out how to root the Verizon running 4.4.4. That's what I have. And the xda forum discussions are saying devs probably won't bother trying anymore. I'll be selling mine in about a month and a half most likely because of this.

As much as I like my Gear 2 Neo, I've not being wearing it for about a week and must admit I like the break from being so connected.  I was one of those that said my Gear 2 Neo allowed me, in a way, to be less connected because I didn't have to pull out my phone as much.  But, in reality, for me, it seems it simply gives me more information (not less).  Or maybe it would be better to say, that it simply added another device I had to check.  Because, really, I still checked my phone for almost everything, even after checking my Neo first.

Was curious, if others had some of the same experience.

This is not real Mexican food. I'm basing this review mostly but not completely on the menudo dish. I called ahead to see if they have menudo. But I guess I should have asked if they have hominy in the menudo. After the menudo arrived, I realized it did not have hominy. I was told that they took it out because some customers didn't like it. They should make it an option. Very disappointed. And for $11 for a bowl of soup that has very little in it aside from broth and tripe, it is way overpriced (along with the rest of their menu). Also they should never have pieces of tripe that require cutting. Ever tried to cut tripe in menudo? I won't be coming back. The chairs are way too low in the booths. You feel like a child trying to reach up to your food. I would have been much better off at La Casita.
