Story
Introduction
I'm an air traffic controller at the Portland-Hillsboro airport.  I love my job and a majority of the people I work with.  I am married to my beautiful wife Amanda and life in a suburb of Portland, OR.  I love to hike, camp and explore.  I hope to one day make it back to MN but until then, let the Oregon adventures continue.  Live life at max volume.

The place is way outdated and it feels/smells that way. The locker rooms upstairs seem dirty and the bathrooms just the same. I understand heat rises but it also seems to be about 85 degrees up there. The ice was good and glad they had tables/chairs outside the rink for family/friends to sit.

I come from the midwest where the state fairs seem to be huge. We have gone the last few years since moving our here. I'm still surprised that there aren't huge displays from the local big companies like microsoft/boeing/costco etc. It would be cool to get some small flight simulators for the kids, or a video game truck etc. The food is pretty good. I really enjoyed the Pete's BBQ and the scones are pretty tasty. Had an overpriced gyro with little meat on it. The rides are decent. A few for the adults and a good amount for the kids.

Brought my xbox360 in for RROD. Before I even left the store the guy checked the power cord and sure enough that was the issue. I bought one there for $25 and was out the door in 5 minutes.

A little over priced for what you get. The selection on the belt is alright but it seemed like over half the spots were empty and the chefs had a hard time keeping up. I do wish I would have ordered off the menu so that is my own fault.

My wife and I went and got the couples room. The room wasn't extra but she got the sugar foot massage and I got the hot towel deep tissue massage for an add on. My wife said the foot massage was the best part. The hot towels and tingly oil were nice but not worth the extra money in my opinion. Olivia was very nice and asked me multiple times throughout the massage how I was doing. I liked that she asked cause it gave me an opportunity to fine tune the trouble areas adjust a bit. The wife got a pregnancy massage and said it was a little weird since she has to be on her side and it wasn't as relaxing. I wasn't to impressed with the front staff after the massage as they tried pretty hard to sell us the membership. After a relaxing massage the last thing I want is having to say "no" 3 times and having to explain myself.

Went there to test drive a small SUV I saw on their website. Entered into their office and it smelled of thick cigarette smoke. The SUV I wanted to test drive wasn't cleaned, it had quite a bit of dirt chunks and grass throughout the vehicle. The saleswoman didn't buckle her seat belt on the test drive and the car still smelled of wet dog. For a car being on their lot for over a week I'd imagine they would clean it. Decided to take my business elsewhere.

I wasn't to impressed with the Shepard's Pie. It was just mashed potatoes on some okay beef and canned corn. I've definitely had better. My friends got a reuben sandwich and a turkey hoagie. Both looked really good and they said that they were really good.
