I have a question related to goal-specific training. I am currently enrolled in the sub-2:00 Half Marathon training plan that +Jeff Gaudette
developed for +RunKeeper
. I've also been trying to focus more on increasing my stride rate. I'm wondering if it is important to have the same stride rate for every run, or if it should naturally decrease on days where a "Slow" run is prescribed. My guess would be the latter, since a stride rate of 180 could result in too choppy of a stride while trying to keep the pace down, but I was curious what you and others think.
