This morning was a milestone. I've now uploaded 20 minutes of original music to SoundCloud. Half way to an album!

The revamped Quarrymans hotel is fantastic, with the best (by very far) beer selection in Pyrmont, a nice chilled atmosphere in their outdoor area, and very good food. Their steak, gnocchi & dark ale dish was one of the best food surprises I've had in a while.

Very tasty Italian food. The eggplant parmigiana was the highlight for me. The 'squid & ink' was also some of the best prepared squid I've had in a long time. The pizzas were very tasty too, with nice fresh cheese & sugo.

Good, hearty, tasty Thai food. One of the tastier Duck Red Curries in the city.

Decent steakhouse. Very well cooked steak, tasty sides, interesting appetizers. Fairly expensive but the food lives up to it.

Comes across as a quick, cheap and cheerful ramen bar, but the richness of the house Tonkatsu broth makes Menya my favourite ramen in the city.

Delicious, varied, and extremely interesting food. The matched drinks were fantastic too, and I ended up hunting down a bottle of sake in Tokyo based on a glass I had here. Highly recommend sitting at the bar to watch them prepare your food.

Food's decent. The novelty of eating on the big boat is cool. It's often hard to tell if there's a function on or if the restaurant is open. Maybe the restaurant downstairs is always open? I bet if they signposted that they'd get a bunch more business.
