The daily chuckle. This guy's face in each photo KILLS me! http://kotaku.com/magic-the-gathering-of-buttcracks-1541155916
This weekend, there was a Magic The Gathering tournament in Richmond, Virginia. It was one of the biggest Magic tournaments ever. For posterity's sake, one man set out to record the event in the most memorable possible: with buttcracks.

Fantastic location and loved the balcony in our room. Our room had a lovely bed and sitting area, but the bathroom wasn't anything special and was quite small. I agree with other reviewers that the walls/doors are paper thin, but the hotel was blessedly not full when we stayed, so it wasn't that big of a deal. The staff was great and the ambiance of the hotel seemed to be 100% New Orleans. We'd definitely stay there again.

The food was better than expected for such a small town (i.e. the vegetable were fresh and perfectly cooked), but half our dishes were over-salted—the wonton soup was so salty it was actually inedible. I might try it again for dumplings, lo mein (requested with "less oil" and it was perfect) and sweet & sour chicken, but I will stick with Shao Ting Guo (by the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake) all my other Chinese cravings.

Really gorgeous clothes and fab jewelry in this small, but well organized shop. A great collection of posh pieces mixed with really quality staples for your wardrobe. All at way more reasonable prices than I expected. The staff that I worked with was extremely helpful and kind, as well, putting together really excellent outfits. I love their taste and sense of style.... and will be going back often for it. :)

The room was very tired and small for our family. The A/C unit was so loud it was difficult to sleep, but mercifully drowned out the highway sounds, so I don't want to complain too loudly. The hotel area was mosquito-infested and for some reason started to smell like sulfur about 10:30pm. The smell may have had something to do with all the rain, which also knocked out the cable at 11pm. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast waffle-makers, but didn't actually eat them because they weren't that tasty. They happily gorged on the pre-packaged muffins, though. Unless the ability to park right outside your motel room is a priority, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Next time we'll hold out for a Holiday Inn Express.

Our school had a fashion show fundraiser last night and Kit & Caboodle kindly lent us about twenty outfits for the children to model. The clothes were gorgeous and fun and the children were so happy wearing them! It is the generosity and support of local businesses, like Kit & Caboodle that make living in the Romsey area such a treat. Thank you for supporting the area schools, Kit & Caboodle!!!
