On February 16, 2015, eleven of my quilting friends had lunch on the patio of the Grape Street cafe. I was worried about the cold but they put these fantastic heaters on for us and we were nice and warm. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. This was the second time we ate there and I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who would like a wonderful dining experience.

Wife and I used to come here quite a bit. But lately after our last few visits, the food and service really went downhill. What really put the icing on the cake was when we used a Groupon voucher. For some reason, the servers become distant and the service gets worse as the night goes on. For instance, when our entrees finally came to us, it was almost impossible to find our waiter because the food came out wrong. God for bid if you have to send it back because you'll starve before you ever see your dish again. You think the manager or owner would bring it out and apologize ? Heck NO ! I was on the Grape Street Facebook friend list and tried to communicate with the owner and he deletes me from his list ! Well I'm not the only one who has been removed from his friend list. Try looking at Trip Advisor and see all the negative comments on this restaurant. Be careful with the bill as well since the 18% is calculated into the bill without them telling you this. And it was figured on the full price and NOT the discounted Groupon price ! Go figure that out. Needless to say, we won't ever be back again.

Love this place! Although... it is not a French Restaurant. I'd definitely say it's an Italian Restaurant. I've been going to Grape Street for over 10 years now. The food is always yummy. The wine is always excellent. The service is always 1st class. I've always had a very positive dining experience at Grape Street. Now, for items you must try: Baked Brie, Fried Calamari, Roasted Garlic Bulbs, Tapas Plate, House Salad (light onions), and finally... Bowtie Olivia. After a few of those items, I'm too stuffed for dessert.

There's no sugar-coating this. I found a cockroach in the linguine they served me. An entire cockroach, laying on its back, legs in the air. The waiter was appropriately horrified and very apologetic. Of course, we didn't pay for the meal (which was pretty tasty until I spotted the little insect in it).

My wife and I love going to this place, the Chef makes some great specials. For those complaining about the restaurant in your review, you are entitled to your opinion, but do not complain about having to tip on the full bill before discount on a Groupon, because that is standard practice. Don't be cheap.

I always find time to eat at Grape Street when I am in Vegas. The food is that good. I have had most items on the menu and with only one rare exception their food has all been incredible. Being a wine bar they always have a great selection of wines to complement your meal. I highly recommend Grape Street.

I have been looking forward to going to Grape Street Cafe for quit some time. This groupon provided the perfect opportunity. the restaurant is in a great location and has a nice quiet atmosphere. I had the Eggplant Parmesan, while my girlfriend had the Angel hair primavera w/ shrimp. We shared an appetizer, the crab stuffed shrimp. The crab stuffed shrimp smelled wonderful and I was anticipating bold flavors. I took a bite, and while it tasted good the flavor wasn't what I was expecting. The food smelled better than it tasted. The eggplant was pretty good, but nothing incredible. My girlfriend stated the shrimp on the angel hair was overcooked and very rubbery. The experience was okay but I cannot see any reason to go back.
