Wow..Its been 30 years since I have been at the Rainbow. In the 80's it was the place to go if you like rock and roll. I seen any things, and many rock stars make fool of themselves, getting liquored up. I have to say the steak was just as good as it was 30 years ago. The cook is the same 30 years ago. I love this place, and the pictures are awesome. One story is when I met Paul Stanley of Kiss here. Ask him what we talked about. G-Out.

Barmaid was rude as hell. The DJ upstairs played the worst fkin music ive ever heard. If you work at a legendary rock and roll joint, keep the crappy industrial bullchit in your moms closet. On the other hand, it was nice to be in such a place of rich musical history.

This is one of those restaurants that make me want to order onion rings. Dip the onion rings in ranch sauce and pop a slice of tri tip in your mouth and voila! Instant goodness! I love it.

Great venue with lots of cool bands passing through. And the sound system is getting better!

The Rainbow is easily my favorite bar in the country. It's still mostly original. It's historical. Everywhere you look, you see pictures and memorabilia of the famous people who've been there. They sat in those very booths. The things that have happened there would probably offend some people. It's a definite must for any rock music fan. It's a rock bar, plain and simple. Now, the food. We have eaten there on 4 different occasions and the food has been great! I have not had a bad dish there. The drinks are pricey but when we went, we went with no limit on the bills. The drinks were very well made though. Each one was great. Some have mentioned that people go there just to see famous people. Well, you actually can. When we were there the first time, we met Ozzy Osbourne on a Friday at lunch time. He was in for a meeting upstairs. They do really still go there but maybe not as much as they once did. We weren't necessarily there for that though. As a rock fan for my entire life and knowing about the Rainbow, I was there to experience it and to mark it off my bucket list. It was just cool to meet Ozzy there by chance. So it does really happen. If you are a rock fan, go in and enjoy the history of the Rainbow. Soak it in. One day, it'll all be gone.
