I've been saying this for some time, companies are beginning to expect new hires, no matter what the job they are hired for, to know how to code. If you are not teaching your students coding - in elementary, middle, or high school - you are doing them a great disservice. Parents, make sure your children are learning how to program starting in elementary school They can, and should start, in kindergarten or sooner. http://money.cnn.com/2016/08/04/technology/general-electric-coding-jeff-immelt/
GE chief executive Jeff Immelt said anyone that joins the company in their 20s will learn to code.

Did you, or someone you know, attend Bethel Park Senior High School as part of the class of 1976? If so, we have our 40th year class reunion coming up on August 20th.

SEE: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BPHS1976reunion/?ref=bookmarks for more details.

Oh Alma Mater, Bethel High
All hail to thee.
We sing thee praises every one
With love and loyalty.
From atop the summit’s brow
Keep a watchful eye.
We’ll always love thy colors true

The new Google+ is redesigned to look similar to the current Google drive, standardizing the interface across apps. Give it a try. I like it, but change can cause serious problems for some.

Good to see.
However, the number of kids who enroll in these classes is pitifully low.

We've permitted this for awhile now, but other districts do not. I think this now makes this acceptable everywhere in PA. http://abc27.com/2016/07/15/computer-courses-count-as-math-science-credits-in-new-pa-law/
Pennsylvania high school students who take computer science and information technology courses will be able to use the credit to satisfy graduation requirements in math or science.
