Here is another shot for Canon Live Learning article with the G3 X camera. Most of the cars were heading north to Monterey at night. We waited and waited because I wanted to get the red taillights for car trails on Bixby Bridge in Big Sur. Finally, some cars went south! Settings: f/5.6, 30 seconds, ISO 125.

Check out my article on the Canon G3 X point and shoot camera. Here is a shot at the Palace of Fine Arts. I love the twilight hour with the blue light for photographing architecture. Amazed at the results I got with this camera! Settings: f/7.1, 1.6 seconds, ISO 125, Canon G3 X. See the images and read the article here:

Here is another photo from Bryce Canyon for the Canon ad. Bryce is such a unique place! I had fun using Canon G3 X to get this. It is so lightweight! Settings: F8, 1/30 second, ISO 125, 102 mm focal length.

Bryce Canyon National Park at sunrise. Here is another one that I shot for the Canon ad. They picked the tree as the final image (wanted a vertical) but I like this one too! Canon G3 X, Settings: F/11, 1/6 shutter, 125 ISO, 24mm focal length.

Here is another shot from Mount Tamalpais when photographing for the Canon ad. I love it when the clouds are along the tree line. My Spanish friends were with me and were saying Tamalpais means tamale + country so they were calling it Burrito Town but we at Cuban food instead - yummy! I used the Canon G3 X, settings: f/8, 1/6 second, ISO 125.

Look what I got today! I am so excited to see my photo in National Geographic Traveler and Conde Nast for a Canon ad! Here’s the ad and the original pic. I shot it with my Canon G3 X at Mount Tamalpais in Marin on a foggy day, the trees were disappearing into the mist. More images to come.

I had a great time in Death Valley earlier this month with our group. Thanks to all the workshop participants who hung in there while we waited to find out if the roads would open after the flooding. More images here... #deathvalley
