I'm trying to learn IPv4 and part of the study materials has the question-
what is the valid host range for network 18.104.22.168/15
I think the answer is 22.214.171.124 - 126.96.36.199 (with 255 being the broadcast address.
my thinking is /15 is stealing 7 bits from the second octet which gives a block size of 2, so the next subnet in the range would be 188.8.131.52/15
the first address in the range is always one higher than the subnet starting in the last octet so that would give me a starting point of 184.108.40.206 and the last address is the next subnet -2 which would be 220.127.116.11..
if i'm wrong would someone help point me in the right direction please...
Thanks a lot for your help :)
