I was taken here by a local who swore by the food, including the cinnamon cream. When we arrived I was appalled by the line, which went halfway down the block. The weather was decent and you could see the line move, so it was not a bad wait. As we approached the door nearly every customer leaving announced that it is "worth the wait"! I simply had to order pancakes, but the menu offers more breakfast and lunch options. The food was very good and the servicequick, efficient. Be warned: This is a local favorite, famous for the line. The staff needs to turn the tables quickly to accommodate those in line, so be mindful of that for their sake and the sake of those waiting.

Hadn't been here in 10yrs. Was very pleased to discover things haven't changed! Love the vintage feel & menus of the place. Pancakes are perfect size. these are the only pancakes I'll eat without syrup! Husband had the blueberry pancakes with sausage & a bottomless cup of coffee. Everything was scrumptious! Server was excellent and food delivery was fast. A few tips: 1. Go after 10a during the week 2. Take cash or suffer the &3 atm fee 3. Don't try to park close, enjoy the trolley or stroll the strip.

We arrived around 7am on a Saturday morning, we were 3rd in line and it didn't take long to be seated. The food was absolutely delicious and every staff member we encountered was nice and friendly. We had our 13 month old son and it was very child friendly. Sweet potato pancakes were delicious! Although the line was exceptionally long when we left around 8:15, so my suggestion is getting there early!

The food was par but not worth the amount we paid for it. The server refused to substitute chocolate chip pancakes for regular pancakes in one of the meals which is abnormal for a breakfast joint. They only accepted cash, and there was a long line to the register. However, they did void the cost of the hash browns that we didn't like because they were flavorless and mushy. If you're looking for good breakfast food in Gatlinburg, go to Crockett's Breakfast Camp, definitely not here though.

When in beautiful Nashville, this is a place you must try! I love it! We went on a Saturday morning and enjoyed the nice view that surrounded this place! Let's just say you have to be willing to wait to enjoy this place, we had to wait about an hour to get in but it was well worth it. Try the sweet potato pancakes! The bacon for me was a little burned but maybe it was just a bad batch? I didn't want to risk getting butt bacon so I just dealt with it. Other than that the place is crowded and just a typical pancake house setting. The service was excellent! Southern Hospitality at its best!

I have a severe milk allergy. Two of the wait staff gave me opposing answers on milk content. When I asked the waitress she snapped at me, became very rude and said that she knew what was in their food. The firstI asked her if she could double check because I needed to be extremely careful and she snapped at this again and was visibly agitated. I asked if I could speak with the manager. The owner came over and as I begin to explain what happened he cut me off in the middle and said, "If you've eaten here before you should be able to eat anything on the menu." I tried to explain that just because one dish doesn't have dairy in it doesn't mean other dishes don't have it. I told him he should be more patient with people that have severe allergies. He stopped me again and paid, "You are a piece of **** and go bother someone else." I was shocked!! I have never been so disrespected in my life! So, iif you have allergies or desire to be treated humanely stay away from this place!

If you're in Nashville you NEED to eat at the Pancake Pantry. When we arrived there was a line to 21st ave but the wait was less than 20 minutes to be seated. They have a ton of delicious pancake flavors and toppings. The inlets are tasty. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The line was outrageously long, it moved pretty quickly though. The food was subpar. Small pancakes that taste like they came out of a cheap box. Pecan pancakes are just plain pancakes with a sprinkle of pecans on top. Everything was bland. Their bacon was the best thing.
