We loved this friendly restaurant with amazing food. Our waiter was so nice and made us feel like we were the most important customers he had ever had. We sat outside on a beautiful day which is amazing for people watching as well as soaking up the atmosphere and vibe of Little Italy. Our meal here was one of the highlights of our 3 days in NYC. Can't wait to go back the next time we visit New York.

I loved it, small cozy atmosphere, classic background music playing, specially Dino, the food was awesome, the wine selection is great and the service really good. They include the service fee in the check so don't worry about tipping and it's fair enough, Highly recommended.

This cozy little restaurant is a gem. The food, wine and service was amazing. Recommend the hot antipasto plate, eggplant parmesan, and stuffed chicken breast marsala. Don't skip the espresso to end your meal. Wow. We had a perfect evening.

I wonder who were all those people that rated this place so highly? I bought it, and by now the Benito's has been my worst experience ever. Their pasta is not homemade, they don't cook good sauce (a must!!!) - mine had actually more garlic than pasta, and that ingredient was even not mentioned in the menu! Very bad surprise for one's stomach! I wasn't offered any cheese or pepper, which illustrates the level of place as well. The wine list choices are also very limited, the bread is not fresh. The service is okay - the waiters were kind and tried to make jokes to cheer me a bit up (as I was VERY disappointed). All in all, don't expect good food there.

My lasagna was way over done and smushy. The spaghetti looked really bad as well. The penne alla vodka was okay. I've had better. Overall: very very mediocre.

People coming out of the place were sayingkt was the best. So we decided to set there. It was great Italian food and the owners were friendly and nice. Great Italian dining.
