Reminiscing on my days in the CIA ...

"Marty Martin, a CIA case officer who led the hunt for bin Laden after the Sept. 11 attacks, said interrogations did not occur the way they are shown in "Zero Dark Thirty." Asked if torture produced tips that helped find bin Laden, Martin would only say that he believes "enhanced interrogation techniques" were useful."

The fine folks at Browning are extremely friendly, honest and trustworthy and great at fixing my car without breaking my wallet. They've been our mechanics for years and do a great job and keeping ours cars running in tip top shape and remedying any problems we have along they way. I highly recommend them!

Judging from the other reviews I lucked out and only had to wait in line a few minutes but it was well worth the wait. I had the hummus sandwich and ran out the door to eat it in the cab on the way to the airport. I wish I'd had more time to stick around but the staff is extremely efficient and the food was really great.

I was travelling home from Raleigh after a trip to Boston and got swallowed up by a snow storm. Called this hotel (was 7 miles away but took me an hour to get there) and they told me not to worry there would be a room for me when I got there. Arrived to find very kind staff who had saved a room for me (there were only 5 left) and I really appreciated that Hampton hadn't raised the rates as they started filling up. The room was very comfortable and clean. Even though it was almost full it was very quiet. A truly great experience in a pinch.

A friend brought us here at my request for some good vegetarian fare and it didn't disappoint. The food was tasty and they even have a gluten-free menu. Really one of the best vegetarian restaurant experiences I've had.

I've been to Cups several times in the past few weeks to work remotely and enjoy the coffee shop atmosphere. To be completely transparent, I have typically spent about 6 or 7 hours working there and always have bought multiple items while there (espresso drink, cookie, etc.). The owner walked in today, headed straight to my table and informed me I should buy more if I was going to be there all day. I told her I always bought food and drinks when I was there and at the time, there was an empty plate on my table of a cookie I consumed. She said "Well I have to pay my rent too" and gave me "the look". I definitely felt unwelcome and won't go there again. The thing that I found most hurtful was there were plenty of other folks I saw every day doing the same as me, but nothing has ever been said to them and wasn't today either... Too bad.

The staff was super accommodating and helpful after the airlines lost my bags. Great "out of the way" feel and half a block from the beach! Awesome old world Florida feel!
