We are at the end of the first week of voting for the Premier Pharmacy football "Player of the Year" awards and have received 26,005 votes! In all 3 categories (Gate City High School, Northeast Tennessee, and Southwest Virginia) amazingly no one person has a lead of more than 355 votes! The largest amount of votes for 1 player is 9,713 in the Southwest Virginia category and the Gate City High School category has only 29 votes separating 1st and 2nd place! With voting going through next Friday night, anything can happen. So don't forget to vote!

Every year, we work with WGAT sports radio (the flagship station of Gate City High School) in naming a Premier Pharmacy "Player of the Week" during the football season. Those players become the finalists for our "Player of the Year" winners. Today, we begin our voting for this year's football awards.

We will be conducting the voting process through 12:01AM on December 5. Please fill out the form and cast your votes! Simply click on the picture/link below and it will take you straight to the form. Again this year, the voting is divided into 3 divisions:

The 21st Annual Compounders on Capitol Hill (CCH) is being held at the Renaissance Washington, in Washington D.C. With more than 400 attendees in 2015, Compounders on Capitol Hill brings together the top-level compounding pharmacists and technicians from across the country with the same goal – to protect pharmacy compounding.

At Premier Pharmacy, we continue our efforts to be involved with every level of government. In taking an active role in this 4 day event, Pharmacists Robert and Diana Harshbarger are representing Premier Pharmacy in Washington D.C. with in-depth meetings with some of our elected officials such as Senators Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander, as well as U.S. Representative Phil Roe and countless other members of Congress.

May we never forget that our freedom is not free. We are so grateful for the countless thousands who paid the ultimate sacrifice and on this Memorial Day weekend, we pause and remember what was given and are thankful. Our wish is for everyone to have a safe and great weekend with friends and family, and to never forget those who have served and are currently serving our country.
