1. April 15th is the deadline for your gift.

2. Couples filing jointly can reduce state taxes by up to $800. Individuals can claim a tax credit of up to $400.

3. Your tax dollars stay local.

4. You may qualify for a charitable deduction on your federal tax returns.

5. You may contribute to more than one tax credit program. The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit is one of five tax credit programs. It supports organizations that serve people with low incomes. The others support public schools, private schools, foster care, and military relief.

Please join us at 11am on Friday, January 27, 2017 to hear personal stories from 5 members of the Tucson Jewish Community who will be sharing excerpts from their published work “To Tell Our Stories: Holocaust Survivors of Southern Arizona”.

They will relate their first-hand accounts of survival during one of the world’s worst periods in history. This reading is at the Jewish History Museum, 564 S. Stone Avenue in downtown Tucson.
