Up close with the new Google Maps. Big hint for local businesses. Want to be big and bold on these maps? You need Google+ reviews.

I have to admit this blows my mind: In Q4 2011 Apple's iPhone business alone was bigger than all of Microsoft. All! Windows, Office, Xbox, everything.

iPhone rev: $24.4 bil. Microsoft (all): $20.9 bil.

And this is just plain crazy, Apple made more profit on hardware (9.3 bil) than Microsoft did with software (8.2 bil). It is supposed to be the other way around.

Governments around the world wanted to break up Microsoft because it was "too big" and "squashed competition." Microsoft also give Apple funds to save it when it was in a very precarious situation (Steve 2.0).

The moral of this story: Innovation solves all known problems. One small device, brilliantly made, wonderfully marketed, rewrote a lot of rule books. Bravo Apple!

It's astounding that not more is being done to sort out UK schools that are riddled with dangerous asbestos. Also very scary that we do not accurately know the scale of the problem, the Government can no longer bury it's head in the sand over the issue and it must take action to stop the growing number of deaths that are caused by asbestos used in Schools.

Asbestos in schools has for too long been ignored and deserves due recognition as the serious problem that it is. It cannot be right that teachers and our children are exposed to such unnecessary risks.

As a nation of parents, educators and professionals, we can all work together to put a stop to it. Raising awareness is a duty we are more than prepared to take on and hopefully, this infographic will help us to do that.
