We are excited to host Wyoming's April June Trio at the Fox Den Bar on February 10th and 11th. The band can normally be found in the Rocky Mountain states but kick off their California dates with us. When the band isn't playing original music or rock and roll favorites, they work closely with the V.A. hospital in Sheridan to provide therapeutic services for our veterans. Come join us and they launch their tour and as always, come as you are, no cover and food and drink are available for purchase. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Visitor Josep Eo captured our hearts when he submitted this picture of the Milky Way to our Picture Zorro contest. He won third place and reminded us what makes our home so special.

While we normally frown on close interaction with wildlife, we had to let this infraction go. Sharon Sullinger shared a picture of her son chatting up a "zorro" and convinced us that the moment was worthy of capturing. The Sullingers won second place in our Picture Zorro contest and will return for another night and another visit with this friend.

The moon of a lifetime? Full moons and new moons occur when the Earth, sun and moon all form a line, something astronomers call “syzygy.” When the moon is on the opposite side of the Earth as the sun during syzygy, it appears full. And when this particular celestial alignment also happens to coincide with perigee, we get an exceptionally close full moon, also known as a Supermoon. On November 14, we will have our closest full moon since 1948. If you miss this phenomenon, you will have to wait until 2034 for its return. So, take a moment and join us in stopping, looking up and marveling at the world above. ©Can Stock Photo/toeytoey http://ow.ly/iQr3305Wzt0

In 2012, an American Medical Association study concluded, “Many species (including humans) need darkness to survive and thrive.” Fighting our natural circadian rhythms reduces melatonin levels and compromises sleep. But La Casa Del Zorro Resort and Spa has a solution. With its strict night-light restrictions, our guests are guaranteed a dark sky experience and we hope, a jump on their melatonin levels.
