Hi everyone,

I know I didn't spend as much time on professional reading this summer as I'd intended to, but we still have the opportunity to get together and talk about the book.

Anyone interested in meeting for coffee? At this point, it'll have to be after school starts - maybe right after Back to School Night? Please leave a comment below if you're interested and I'll send out a Doodle with some suggested dates and times.

In the meantime, here's another video from John Spencer. Welcome back to school!

Chapters 9 & 10: What were your take-aways? What goal have you made for yourself and your students?

How nice of John Spencer to offer us this blog post.

Chapters 7 & 8: Was there an idea in these two chapters that really resonated with you? What was it? Please share.

Chapters 5 & 6: "It all begins with wonder." How do you encourage wonder and students' asking questions?

Here is this week's question for chapters 3 & 4.
Where have you seen creative work take place in your classroom or in your curriculum? What were the conditions that supported the creative process?

What is your creative approach? Where do you give yourself permission to use this approach as a teacher?

This is a video from John Spencer, one of the authors of Launch. I hope you find it as thought-provoking as I did.
