Hi Scotty,

I am looking to fix up an old convertible 1964.5 Ford Mustang Manual (standard) that has been garaged and not run for at least 13 years. When it was garaged, the transmission was pulled and I believe all of the liquids except for maybe the gas.

I'm working with some friends to get it fixed up and running again. We have had the transmission rebuilt, replaced some rubber hoses, replaced water pump, and removed/cleaned carburetors so far. I believe we might have replaced the clutch as well.

We are working to install the transmission soon, and we have ordered a new battery, but do you have any recommendations as to what the next steps are? Every time we talk to a lay person, they have different advice for us.

If you could list which steps to take next, we'd greatly appreciate it.
