We are still investigating how inmate Daniel Skelton got past the fence but PSD can confirm he did not climb over the 16-foot razor wire fence.

Do you know any driven women who are interested in pursuing a career in Airport Fire Fighting?

The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) is partnering with the Department of Human Resources Development (DHRD) to conduct two “Women in Airport Fire Service” workshops on Saturday, July 12, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The sessions will be held at the Airports Division Offices at the Honolulu International Airport, located at 400 Rodgers Boulevard on the 7th Floor of the Inter-Island Terminal Parking Structure (center entrance door). Each session is free and is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. Parking validation will be provided.

Sheriffs, HPD, Marshals in hot pursuit of escapee in Nuuanu Area. If you see him, do not approach. Call 911 or Sheriffs 586-1352.

Sheriffs, Honolulu Police and U.S. Marshals are in pursuit of OCCC escapee Daniel Skelton in Nuuanu around School Street area. He was seen trying to flee between homes. 

He has changed his appearance and now has short orange hair. He is wearing a tank-top and shorts. He also has scrapes down both of his arms.

Instructions:
If you see him please call 911 or Sheriff Dispatch at 586-1352. Do not approach him.

The lockdown has been lifted at OCCC's main building. Annex 1, where the escape happened, is still locked down while the investigation is ongoing. 

Honolulu Police and State Sheriffs were notified.

Misinformation based on preliminary reports is circulating on social media. How Daniel Skelton escaped and what he was wearing have not been substantiated. Correct information will be released by us when we have it.
