Great local hang out with good food, great drinks, and happy hour that lasts until closing! It has very reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere.

Came here for an anniversary dinner and another time for the filming of an episode of Californication. Both experiences were great. The paella was pretty good, and their sushi is quite tasty and fresh. Writing "Happy Anniversary" in raspberry drizzle on the dessert plate was a very nice and personal touch to end the evening.

The spicy shrimp roll. Simply divine. Fresh, flavorful, great beer, great crowd, wonderful staff. The menu is diverse and near everything item is exceptional. Nothing else needs to be said. Awesomeness by the beach :) Experience it for yourself

Chaya has been around forever, but it's still one of my favorite happy hour spots. The sushi rolls are fantastic, and not the "watered down" versions of usual happy hour fare. It's a great spot to go out, have some great sushi and enjoy their fabulous wine selections. A++

Super fresh seafood is tops here, but for those who prefer more land-based cuisine, there are great options too. When the restaurant is fully booked (often), don't expect to have a quiet and relaxed meal. They really pack in the diners into the dining room, but once your food is served, you forget about it since all you want to do is put forkful after forkful of your dish into your mouth.
