Been thinking and speaking much about the 'social graph' lately, and what its data is remotely important. To that end, I developed a framework for brands to assess the opportunity relationship data represents, based on its actionability for the business. Would welcome thoughts and conversation around the actionability of this framework: http://www.slideshare.net/pmvazquez/whats-the-social-graph-worth

Liking this for the challenge to dig deeper when defining who your target is in each community. To say that 'Busy woman strapped for time and looking for information online' is not as insight would be an understatement.

super bummed that Social Media Week isn't going to be in NYC this Sept. That's a lost day out of the office for me!

Experiments in storytelling: wonder if Coppola's 'Twixt' will do for cinema/film what Punchdrunk is doing for theatre.

I'd like to follow-up with what companies are already commercializing some of these technologies, and how. Any ideas, submissions are appreciated.

I like this piece, as an antidote to 'never stop, never rest, always on' sensationalism. Reality is, it's tough to reinvent, evolve and refresh unless you first take a step back...and sleep/dream.

Love the idea of Longshot magazine, a publication published in 2 hours. Additionally, the whimsically illustrated 'circles of influence' visualization - who may have influenced each other, or how ideas may have been born. Makes for great stories (and speculations)...

So Wieden's work with Old Spice continues - this time, pitting Fabio against Isiaiah Mustafa (the 'old' Old Spice man). The personalized YouTube videos yesterday felt repetitive from last year's campaign. I'm hoping today's show-down proves to be more original/innovative.
