I mainly use the outline method because my mind works well with lists.
Though I do leave quite a bit of space on the right side of the page so I can write extra notes on the topic either to reference to something earlier or later in the class or numbers of slides with extra information or questions for the tutor and stuff like that.
But I also take all my notes by hand and use a recorder to record whole classes so I can hear them back when I need them for essays.

My organisation of my dropbox looks very similar to yours. It's so easy.
Since I get a lot of digital reading for my classes these days I have a separate system for those.
Within the class folder on dropbox I have two or three more folders, namely: Class reading, weekly assignments and final assignments. In the main folder I put the main files for the class, then I sort the rest in the other folders. And for digital texts I would number them. So all the reading for week 1 is 1.[name of article] and for week 2 it is 2.[name of article]. This way I don't have to hunt down the different articles for each week. I can see them and use them as needed.

As for the written notes. I usually had small notebooks for each class (because I had 2 classes per day at most, so taking two notebooks was easy) but I would still use this at the top of the sheet to find the right notes:
[Name/short code of the class] - [week number] - [date]
And right under that I would number the page if it was more than one (it usually was).
That way, even if I accidentally brought the wrong notebook I could still find it back.

In my last year of my BA they no longer sold the notebooks that I used so I bought just one big one. Using a system of naming and date stamping each set of notes really worked out well for that, and since I was already used to it it was easy.

Any authors in #kindleunlimited who can help me out? I'm trying to put together enough data to be able to come up with a formula or estimate on how the KENPC (new page count for Kundle unlimited books) is calculated.

Filling it out only takes a couple of minutes but might help many authors going forward!

Oh, god, the q-tip thing. One of our cats is like that, he will literally tug on your arm hoping you'll give it to him >.<

I love Cole and his little pillow <3

We know exactly what our cats are up to at night, as we only have a living room and a bedroom, so they're either in the room with us, or in the room next to us.
But yes, this video shows really well what cats get up to before they curl down and fall asleep near you :P

Great video! I use Anki to study Japanese too (started a couple of years ago but am now getting back to it), and also to study other things. I studied English irregular verbs for a class on editing, I had to get them perfectly right even though I already knew 90% of them. But using Anki helped me from having to think about it even a little bit to the stage where they came naturally (I'm Dutch, not English), and knowing them so well really cut down the time I needed to do edits.

One thing I started with once I got to university was to record classes. In the UK (at least at my university) this was actually quite common. At the start of the class I would put my recorder at the front of the room near the lecturer and then after the class I would pick it up again.

The upside of this was that I then had three sets of data to study with. The printed out PowerPoint sheets, my own notes and the recording of the class. A lot of the time my notes were perfectly fine, but to have the recording to go with it helped to really re-enforce the information.

We've taken to boxing off the space behind the computer screens and TV and I always have a pillow near me when I work so the cat won't try to sleep in my arms >.<
