This is really nice for those unfortunate enough to be writing LaTeX.

Sweet, ShareLaTeX (cloud LaTeX editor) is now open source: http://bit.ly/1jTs5Sf  - sure beats fighting with local TeX toolchain!

What is it about bikes that gives drivers that irrational need to pass? I can't even count the number of near accidents I've witnessed due to unsafe passing. And in most cases, I was going as fast as the car ended up going anyway.

Just heard both of these sentences back to back:

"Why don't we test?"
"What's taking so long?"

Wow. The guy at dinner just told me that his neighborhood was integrated. And it was a big deal.

This american life #512, had a bit on this recently. Most neighborhoods are "integrated". All white neighborhoods are rare. The opposite is not true, there are many all black neighborhoods, and many that are more integrated are only mixed with minorities. It's a pretty sad state of affairs.

The food was terrible. I asked for a burrito Colorado and the waiter said that their burrito preferido was pretty close. It wasn't at all. No Colorado sauce at all. Matter of fact, it was SWEET--no spice at all. And the chili rellano? The pepper was about 1 inch square. No joke. But to make up for it everything was drenched in this white stuff that resembled cheese, but tasted more like that nasty stuff they pour over nachos at the movie theater. And while I typed this, an ant crawled across the table.

They're busy college kids, so the service isn't technically that great, but they're incredibly friendly and it more than makes up for it.

Decent place. No complimentary breakfast, but that stuff is usually crappy anyway. Eco-friendly and the bartender was friendly & helpful.

The food was really good and the portions were quite generous. The prices were just a little high for what you got.
