by the way, Take care, under other religions like the Judaism you are the heretic and hypocrite one.
Use their god and myths to validate your god but dislike when they say your god are not their god.

ho wait.
It's demagogy.

Ever wondered how the bunnies & eggs got involved? » The Theft of Eostre.

Happy Sunday pagan celebrations of fertility Eostre, stolen by Christianity and turned into Zombie Jesus Sunday! (◕‿~)✿

One of my favorite words is "syncretism". It means the amalgamation, or attempted amalgamation, of different religions or schools of thought, especially when t

"Actually, I may be entirely wrong about that last paragraph.  They may have made none of those changes." (regarding bunnies, eggs, and changing the name)

I haven't done any formal research on this, but it's notable that the Latin languages use pascua, pâques, etc., while in German and English we have ostern and easter, which makes sense with the purported origin of eostre.

I've also noticed a decided lack of eggs and bunnies in the traditions celebrated by the French side of my family. My mother-in-law actually cooked rabbit for Easter dinner once, completely forgetting about our "Easter Bunny". It was both hilarious and tasty :)

First of all, it's "nit-picking" not "cherry-picking". Second, this is about Xians preaching God's law w/o feeling the need to obey it themselves. And the fact that they then try to rationalize it means they don't really believe someone is watching them and saying,"sorry dude that's bullshit". I call shenanigans.

+ama jamus It's not that atheists lack humor so much as it is that you're not funny.

On an unrelated note, A.C.A. is acceptable. It's obvious that any large piece of legislation especially one that regulates a system with finances comparable to the economy of France would experience problems.

Story
Introduction
I am Monica (Salcedo) McGee, known for being a fiercely outspoken atheist, on  Monicks.net, on Twitter (@Monicks), and here on Google Plus. I am a humanist, a freethinker, a rationalist, and an egalitarian. I am married to Joshua McGee, (@McGeekiest). I also occasionally write over at gawd.me

I am an atheist guided by reason, instructed by science, motivated by kindness - and I'm also kinda nice.

I am a secular humanist. I rely on reason to understand the world, and compassion guides my effort to apply my knowledge ethically.

I behave decently to everyone without any expectation of rewards or punishment after I'm dead.

Want to know more? Monicks.net

tl;dr? @Monicks

If I added you, it probably means I find something you do or said interesting, or most likely I think we have similar interests. If I'm right, and you feel so inclined, you can add me yourself, if not, just feel flattered and carry on.
