Consistently great food and friendly staff who go out of their way to make the dining experience enjoyable. Love going during week nights when it is a more relaxed environment. Highly recommend.

18 hours later, and I can't stop thinking about this meal. Fresh, tasty, and *interesting* through and through. The 3 course tasting menu is $65 (also includes 2 intermezzo courses). We left feeling satisfied but not overfull. The seaweed entree, which sounds bizarre but I had based on a rave recommendation from the waitress, was phenomenal. Also recommend the corn brioche dessert. I would go back here again for sure.

Great prix fixe menu. Reasonable price for such a menu ($65). We had the wine pairings, which were interesting and well matched.

Absolutely everything at this restaurant was amazing. To start off, the cocktails were great and very unique. We got the 3 course meal, which is actually a 5 course meal when you include the soup and cheese. Appetizers were light and delicious. The soup course was a nice warm-up for the main course, which exceeded all expectations. Then came the cheese course - WOW - a small grilled cheese sandwich with Canadian cheddar that absolutely blew my mind!!! The deserts finished off the night and were equally wonderful. All in all, I could not have asked for more. Absolutely fantastic food, great and friendly service - well worth every dollar!!!

Bottom line? We'll be back, probably more often than we should. The pre fixe menu was a great mix of variety and portion size, although understandable for some to question the value (a bit pricey, but excellent prepared entrées help). Had a great cocktail called the Hollywood (named after one of the bartenders who works there and goes by this nickname...) * Bulleit Bourbon * Tawny Port * Maple Syrup * Vermouth * Served over ice, stirred, with a brined Michigan cherry. Would have been better with some rye added, but did the trick. Oh, the aforementioned Brittany (sp?), the manager, was working the night we went. Zero complaints - she was helpful answering questions while I waited at the bar and ran a tight ship throughout our meal. Everyone on staff that night was friendly and eager to help (nobody hid in their sections or got territorial at the customers price). *Note: This is a transferred review from my slowly dying yelp! account.

Continues to shine. More space now that entrance is enclosed. Master of the pithy phrase for the food. Will want to try Dale's second spot

Excellent food and knowledgable staff, I really liked the presentation and look of all of the dishes. The wine list was the only part that was a disappointment it was much more expensive then the food.
