Energy tariffs rise to 800, increasing complexity of choice and making it harder to save money - http://www.energylivenews.com/2016/04/04/energy-tariffs-rise-to-800-increasing-complexity-of-choice-and-making-it-harder-to-save-money/
Traditionally there have been 20 energy tariffs per provider, now there will be 800 – making it harder for consumers to find the right energy tariff to save up to £400 per year. Flipper Community offers a way to disrupt the price comparison market by making energy switching simpler.

The CIO agenda changes each year, albeit not drastically: in 2015 part of their focus was on hybrid cloud spending, but this year research and analyst firm Gartner says that it's now about how they enhance the power of digital platforms.

The first ever Connected Car Insurance Europe 2016 opened with a reflection on the latest trends in the insurance industry. Delegates heard that telematics as a technology has the ability to collect data to empower products and services. This is forcing car manufacturers to look at changing their traditional business and, as a result, insurance companies should do the same.

According to IBM there will be 250M connected vehicles on the market by 2020 and they will be connected and fully packaged with sensor technologies. Times are changing. Talent management has often been seen in the past as the preserve of human resources in each organisation. Today, with skills gaps emerging in finance and in other key business areas, directors of finance and CFOs are playing a more crucial and integrated role in attracting, finding, and retaining talent than ever before.

In fact a survey of financial directors by the Journal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and DLA Piper found in 2015 that the skills shortage in the jobs market has caused many of them to have more sleepless nights than China’s slowdown and more than any perceived threat that might emerge from ‘Brexit.’

Totally poor customer service. I was told to leave after ordering food - just for asking for a receipt and after the barman named James claimed I would accuse him of overcharging me. There was no reason for that, but his attitude caused an argument and he refused to give me proof of purchase of my food because I had paid with Apple Pay. He claimed I needed to ask for a receipt first, but gave me no opportunity to do so. While contactless and Apple Pay may record the amount paid, they don't record the items purchased. This would leave me without proof that I had ordered my food.
