All that is needed to trigger a new and healthy housing market is for the banks to loosen credit restrictions back to normal levels again. All the players are waiting until after the Presidential elections to make their move. 2013 promises to be a much better year for economic recovery and employment gains. Raul B Villazon has resided in Miami-Dade County, Florida, since his arrival to the United States, eventually becoming a naturalized American citizen, after having fled his native country, Cuba, as a young man, shortly after the advent of a socialist revolution led by Fidel Castro.
Upon his arrival, he attended Miami Norland Sr. High School for one term, and succeeded in learning to speak, read and write English adequately by the end of his first school year in America. He then transferred to Miami Sr. High School for the eleventh grade, where he later graduated in the top ten percent of his class. Unable to attend college on a full time basis because of his limited financial resources, he entered the work force, working full time while taking evening and week-end courses at Miami-Dade Community College, from which he graduated with an Associate of Arts degree. Years later, he would also earn a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Almeda University, Boise, Idaho.
After graduation, Raul entered the Real Estate field as a licensed Agent, and only two years later obtained his Real Estate Broker license. Since then, Raul has dutifully practiced his profession as a Real Estate and a Business Broker, and later on as a Property Manager, as well as a Real Estate Assets Portfolio Manager, securing along the way the appropriate licenses and professional designations of: Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM), Certified Property Management Specialist (CPMS), and Certified Pool and Spa Operator (CPO), among others, all of which he has put to good use at one time or another. During his career, he has managed to cover a broad business spectrum, which includes: residential properties management; real estate marketing, sales, and financing; leasing, sale and management of Commercial and Industrial properties; sale and acquisition of land parcels for development; and lastly, the purchase and sale of various business enterprises.
At various times throughout his career, Raul has held key management positions such as: Director of Marketing, Sales Manager, Business Manager, Real Estate Broker, and Portfolio and Property Manager. On several occasions, well-known firms have hired him as a Management Consultant to help them launch or develop a new project or enterprise, or to effectively trouble-shoot and re-direct a faltering company or division.
At the present time, Raul is focusing on guiding the efforts of a group of seasoned investors to purchase a significant number of foreclosed residential REO's, in order to accumulate a rental-income property inventory, which several experts now recognize as the next opportunity to earn a substantial and continuous passive income by fulfilling the growing demand for rental housing for years to come. The currently sales-depressed housing market indicates that demand for affordable rental housing should remain strong for the foreseeable future, resulting in a gradual but stable rise in rents and, eventually, a steady increase in property values as well in the long term. This type of capital investment does require demographic-specific marketing and constant supervision by a dedicated, hands-on experienced, professional property manager, all of which services Raul is readily able and happy to provide to his clients.
On occasion, the intensity of the work and the long hours by the end of a busy work week may take their toll on Raul. But his enthusiasm and his sense of duty towards his clients are never exhausted, nor his sincere gratitude for his clients’ trust in him.
