This theater was hit or miss when it first opened up. There were constant sound problems and low bulb projections, and the staff didn't care. Now, it seems like most of the problems have been fixed, but you sometimes still have an indifferent staff. It depends on the manager on duty. The IMAX projection is not as good as the Bob Bullock experience, but it is satisfactory. Still, for theaters that show IMAX, I prefer the Regal Gateway, or even going to the Cinemark Tinseltown in Pflugarville. The great thing I have to give them is that they now have a bar in the lobby. Yes, now you can get your drinks on before or during the movie. That pushes their rating up one star. Only problem is getting up to go to the bathroom at times during the movie.

When I need a good all you can eat brunch fix, Trudy's is the place. I take all my friends here when we need a great place for brunch. The all you can eat buffet has a great variety that mixes American breakfast with Tex-mex flavors. Besides the brunch, Trudy's has a great menu that everyone can enjoy. I've never had a bad experience there. The only problem is that sometimes it can be really busy, and you would have a good wait on your hands. Not sure how they can fix that when they are so popular, but it is what's keeping me from giving it 5 stars.

When I first came here, this was a better step than the previous restaurant that vacated the location, which was Ryan's. Since then, it has kind of gone down hill. The food was not as fresh, and it seemed like there was not much variety compared to other buffets. The night I went, they had crab legs, and I am a BIG crab leg fan. Unfortunately, the legs they served seemed like they been sitting in the steamer way too long. They were rubbery and soft, and it was hard to break open a crab leg due to the mush. The other items they had were either bland or soggy, and not much taste. When it first opened, the place was packed, but since then, it was probably a quarter full. I would think that this place would not last much longer.

Yeah, this place has a lot of cool stuff, but what it doesn't have is, helpful and knowledgeable work staff that can assist you. Went there with my girlfriend to help her pick out things to furnish her apartment. She wanted most of the items in white, but when you find out that they don't come in white, trying to find someone to look up the items is almost an impossibility. There are some items that are inexpensive, but they rack up the price if you decide to have them delivered and assembled. My girlfriend spent a good fortune there, but they wouldn't give her a break in delivery price and assembly. Plus, it is way up north, so if you purchase and then decide there is an issue with your furniture, you would have to go back because trying to get them on the phone is like pulling teeth.

My go-to place for wings. I've been going to Pluckers since they first opened a location on campus. This is where I fell in love with their wings. Since then, I have been to all the Pluckers locations in Austin, and the Burnet location is one of my favorites. Since they remodeled, the place is bigger and better, and more room to sit instead of waiting for a table. Wings are the bomb, and the staff are friendly enough to let you in on new flavors that they are experimenting that are not on the menu. It is also a great place to watch the games, and if you become a Pluckers member, you get special treats and loyalty rewards. When you need a wings fix, Pluckers is the place. Pluck all the rest!

Another exceptional Thai place. This place can hold its own among the other good restaurants in this area. As for cuisine, their lunch menu is a little lacking, but it does offer some scrumptious Thai faire. I like their Pad Thai, and the garlic chicken is tasty. The female staff that served us were very friendly, and each of them were attentive to our needs and filled our water glasses politely and efficiently. Very clean, very classy, and very delicious.

I've been wanting to try this chain restaurant to see how they compare to my beloved Pluckers, especially ever since Troy Aikman became a spokesman. In my opinion, it doesn't even come close. My biggest complaint is the size of their wings. Talk about tiny, they must have bred Chicken Littles for their pieces. And they don't have a wide selection of sauces, compared to Pluckers. Very disappointing. I would give this place a much lower rating, if it wasn't for their fries. They have a great seasoning for the fries, with a mix of salt and sweet, kind of like what you get with Kettle corn popcorn. I couldn't stop eating them. Other than that, this place is very bland and average. Skip it and go to Pluckers instead, or even Buffalo Wild Wings.
