We’re Rethink, an independent Canadian agency owned entirely by our four partners. Our 70 person Vancouver office opened 11 years ago. Our Toronto office is almost 2 years old and is 30 people, but growing fast.
What makes us unique?
With a name like Rethink, you know you’re not dealing with a typical agency. We have a leaner structure and a more rigorous process than other agencies. This helps us create ideas that get results more efficiently and consistently.
Right from the start, we had no silos or divisions. We are one of the few Canadian agencies equally respected for our advertising, design, online and social media work.
Because our offices are cheap and cheerful, we’re able to invest in a more robust creative team. We start with quantity and refine for quality, working fast and loose to cover our walls in ideas. We then craft them through Peer Review. One at a time, we show people in the target group our thinking. We ask them to choose ideas that are Clear, Relevant, Achievable, Fresh, True and Shareable.
All of this helps us create brands people can believe in. And that translates into results.
In 2009 and 2010, we were Canada's most-awarded ad agency. Partner and creative director Chris Staples has been ranked the number one creative director in Canada eight times— three times in the last three years. Aaron Starkman, the newest addition to the agency, has won more Cannes Gold Lions than any other creative in Canada.
