I walked in with a friend to grab drinks and the host told us there were spots at the end of the bar. When we realized there were not two seats together, we walked back to the host stand. The host ignored the fact that we were standing there and when I got his attention and asked if there was an open table we can sit at he ignored my question. Another group walked in looking to drink and he was equally as rude. There were plenty of one tables but he ignored us again when another group walked in. We walked out. Rudest host I have ever encountered. I would not recommend this place.

This bar is everything I could ever want out of a neighborhood bar. 1. The staff is insanely friendly. Expect to exchange names and have them REMEMBER your name. These people are seriously always in a good mood, it seems. The waitresses are also very attentive; they come around and make sure you've got everything you need. Tables always get cleared out in a timely manner. 2. Drinks are strong and good. Can't speak for the beer selection because I don't drink beer. 3. This place always has a great crowd. Whether it's die-hard sports fans on a game night, or people coming out from work in business attire, the people are there to seriously enjoy themselves. I'm pretty sure you can borrow board games from the bar and play, too. The crowd is also friendly. 4. This food is wayyy above average bar food. I come in and have to try desperately not to order (too) much food. Their chipotle mayo is what dreams are made of. 5. There's a garden!!!! I am always suggesting to friends "let's go to the bar by my apartment", and I'm not even suggesting it out of laziness and convenience. I really enjoy this bar.

I went to Nic's last night for the 1st time. Nic greets you like an old friend. The waiters are charming, and knowledgeable about the numerous types of vodka available (over 80!). The plain Martini's we ordered were great, but we had to pay extra. The only Martini at Happy Hour price was made with fruit and we did not want sugary drinks. The appetizers were truly amazing, especially the grilled shrimp cocktail, and they all had great happy hour prices.

Terrible place. We have walked in with a party of 5. The hostess welcomed us with a snobby look and seated us at the table. However, within 5 seconds another girl came up running towards us and said that the table is reserved. (The restaurant was completely empty at the time). Instead of finding us another table (since we have been seated already and started looking at the menu), the hostess in a absolutely unprofessional manner tells us: "my boss will kill me if I seat you". What is that suppose to mean? We have never had such a terrible experience (and we have been to many upscale places). This place is not even on same level as some great restaurants around the area and they will never be if attitude does not change. Never going to step my foot there again.

Walked in with 2 other girls and were seated quickly at the bar. Had good drinks, had a good time talking to the bartenders, and the manager checked on us.

Came here for a friend's birthday and I absolutely enjoyed the whole atmosphere. The gnocchi and the salmon special was delicious. The Vodbox experience was really fun, we all enjoyed wearing the furry coats and drinking the shots of Vodka; VOCO was my favorite.

Nics = Overprice! Even during Happy hour, you can expect a bill over $40 average per person. Happy Hour: All night Monday, 5-7pm Every Night (includes $7 Special-tini, $7 Wine Dujour, $7 appetizers) I made the mistake of thinking everything on their martini menu is on Happy Hour and ended up paying full price, $14 each. The waitress failed to inform us especially when we asked her about Happy Hour specials. She ended up giving us the menu with a smile and screwed us over. Note: Clarify when ordering! The drinks weren't A+ for the price point of $14....it tasted more like a $ 7 drink. The appetizers were small in portions, which was surprising because it's $14 on average per plate. We ordered about 4-5 plates and none of it was a standout. I think the best thing I had was their fries, sad! The highlight for Nic's is their Vodka freezer. $22 for 2 shots of Vodka tasting. Is it worth it? Nah! Will it impress your date, probably since you get to also wear faux fur and hat. Plus, the ambiance is modern and hip, but that's what you pay for in Beverly Hills. Parking is $5 after 6pm and conveniently located on the same block! Will I come back? Doubtful
