This is cool. I hope they're around when my boys are old enough to play with them.

Don't park so, don't park so, don't park so close to me...
Squeezing your kid into a car seat is hard enough. Throw in an inconsiderate close parker or two, and you've entered one of the circles of car egress hell.

Zakk WILL get a van...it just might take a thousand or so more people to help. Please consider doing what you can.
When it was clear late last week that Zakk didn't win the van contest, his mother said her heart was broken, as were the hearts of many of Zakk's supporters. The good news is that there's still a way to get Zakk a van.

A new study examines why moms post baby pictures to Facebook. The main reason is pretty laudable, but a secondary, far less dignified one is what I'll cop to being guilty of...
The last three pictures of Scrunchy Face that I posted to my personal Facebook page show him smiling while standing on our lawn, him stuffing a sushi piece into his mouth, and him sitting placidly in a grocery store shopping cart. In all of these pictures he looks so cute that he's borderline edible ... not…

New college essay rule: Don't write about wetting your pants.
You've probably heard by now that you should discourage teens from posting certain information and photos online. Here's a warning you may not have heard: Extend your TMI crackdown to their college essays.

My friends, it's time to Belieb again.
Music can calm the savage toddler. Justin Bieber's "Baby" did more than that for one sick little boy.

As usual, I tackle the important issues of our time...
If hair loss was the reason Steve left "Blue Clues," couldn't he have just smeared on some Rogaine and gone about his clue-hunting business?

So maybe don't swear at your kids' teachers?
"You couldn't even imagine the names I've been called," Michelle, who didn't want her real name published, told me. Among the colorful adjectives and names thrown at her? Ignorant, stupid, ugly and the one that rhymes with witch. And yes, sometimes F-bombs are dropped too.

Babble's back up and so are my blog posts! Today's deep thoughts revolve around "backing that a** up" chem nerd style. #NerdsRule
I was tempted to write this blog post using only the names of the elements on the periodic table... but I don't have time for that. Who does? High school students! Georgia high school senior Paris Gray landed herself in some hot H2O recently when school officials discovered that her yearbook quote, which included a…
