Back from Steamstock!! What an awesome time! Airship loads of thanks to Brian Gardner and Alyssa Rosenbloom for inviting us and taking such good care of us. Special thanks to the guys of Vernian Process, not only for being awesome people but also for hooking us up with drums to do our 'thang. The Steamstock cast and crew pulled it off amazingly! 13 bands, over 30 vendors, two 40 foot stages of continual music, steampunk merriment and mayhem. It was a crazy whirlwind for that Frenchy and this Punk. We got up 3am Sat morning and got back 2:30 am Tuesday morning... somehow, in between it all, saw 12 other band's awesome sets, tore up the stage FnP style, made a ton of new friends and saw some old ones... thanks to Pandemonaeon for helping us at the merch table, had 2 awesome belly dancers on stage with us Laura Tempest Zakroff and Blackhoodygrrl, plus 5 amazing Le Cancan Bijou dancers for the song 'Yes! I'm French' (can't wait to see pics/footage!), ate fish and chips by the bay, did photos and interviews, was carted back and forth from venue to airport and hotel by some of the nicest people we have ever met, looking at you Laura Oz-burn, Ruth Duncan and Gene Forrer, had fun at dinner with Abney Park, got blinded by science with Thomas Dolby, flew on 4 separate flights, had 2 layovers in Phoenix, jammed in the airport and are happily exhausted! Big thanks to Swing Goth and the San Fran steampunk community and beyond!!!! pow it was fun! If you weren't there you simply have to go next year!!
