Came here at 11 a.m. on St. Patty's Day with a friend. You just have a feeling a place will be neat when you see the cobbled stone entrance and big oak doors with Irish engraving and trim. The interior was dark, wood panelled with plenty of space and lovely stained glass windows. Just what you might imagine in an Irish village somewhere. The Cardinal drink was exceptional and the coddled egg was delicious. It was a quiet atmosphere but the pub was just opening at the time we arrived. The service was a little slow, but not terrible. Stayed about an hour and then moved on to McShanes which was the opposite -large, loud, festive, but average food, drinks and decor. We will definitely look forward to returning to St. CeCe's because it is a local gem.

My first time visiting Detroit and my first time at St. Cece's Pub... I was speechless walking into the front door! What a beautifully styled place! Very spacious, very comfortable, I loved the fireplace as well as the Dali print in the basement on the mantle. I stopped by with a group on Mother's Day for lunch and the food/service was beyond amazing. I typically do not eat eggs but I ordered the house corned beef & hash and it came with eggs which were tasty as could be. The corned beef was delicious and I kind of wanted to order more. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stop by St. Cece's Pub. Too good to miss.

My visit to St. CeCe's was a non-dining experience. My friend & I walked in, and we were ignored for 10 minutes. Not one word from any employee. So, we left. I was and still am pretty disappointed. I might give it another try, but there are so many other worthwhile restaurants & pubs that deserve my money and 20%+ tips.
