I have to respect the Guardian for its leadership. Until we start making moves like this, new energy sources will never have a chance. Guardian Media Group to divest $1.2 billion fund from fossil fuels http://cir.ca/s/6H4

As I recall, Gaddafi ordered the destruction of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 290 passengers.
Then the British leadership and spooks struck this deal with the same guy?
Two questions...
Who perpetuates terror?
And,
How do you sleep, sirs? How do you sleep?

OK, so this Arment fellow writes a post about Apple products being great, but their software blows goats and... well, he's correct.
Their products are beautiful. Their warranty and customer support is great.
But their software is awful - buggy, poorly executed, bland, confusing, out of date, ugly.
It is costing them customers. I am one of 'em.
So, Arment is right, they should fix this.
He is right, the focus on marketing a zillion new relatively insignificant software features is taking precedence over stuff that just works. Now a lot of the stuff doesn't work very well.
This is a problem for Apple.
Arment is a smart guy. He is respected.
And people listen to him.
So his little post was broadcast far and wide.
This is a good thing. For Arment and Apple.
It is good for Arment because he is right, and he spoke that truth to power.
It is good for Apple because having a bunch of simpering toadies telling you how great you are all the time is bad for business.
Among other things, it leads to really poor software.
