Wicked smart Doctor. If you want hand holding go elsewhere. He's kinda like House only shorter. If there's something wrong he'll figure it out. Staff is pretty cool and very friendly. They're a little behind in technology. Can't email, no wifi,

STAY AWAY!!!! I visited Dr. Young for a standard check-up to renew my health insurance, and he ran a bunch of unnecessary tests on me saying it was "standard procedure." My insurance rejected the claims and I was stuck with a $400 medical bill. NEVER go here. Didn't help that during the entire visit, he kept trying to talk politics and the woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and impatient.

The office was very clean and the greeting staff was fast and friendly. Sadly that is where the good stopped, I was taken to a room and asked regular questions by nurse and then she moved me to another room she said was so they didn't get confused about what patient I was??? The nurse was no friendly but not rude either. Once in the second room the doctor came in and introduced himself. He started going over regular questions for a first visit and when he got to my medications I was taking, I advised that I had stopped taking one of my diabetic medications due to being out of them and had been waiting on new insurance to get them refilled and he looks over to his nurse and out loud says "and this is why medical history in our files is full of bu****it". I ignored this and he moved on he preceded to tell me due to narcotics being on my list of scripts that I would need to go to a pain management specialist for those medications. When I asked for him to explain what this was he became very defensive and rude. I am new to this pain management program that Florida has adopted and was just wanting to understand why I would suddenly have to go to a special doctor to get some of my medication. My doses are very low and only taken 2 or 3 times a week as needed for pain from knee and back injuries that are unfixable. This was by far the least of my current concerns as I was there just to get my diabetic medication refills in order. I tried asking the doctor why I felt like he was being rude to me and he advised there where 300 other doctors that I could select if I was not happy with him. I proceeded to get up and walk out. Even the nurse in the room during the questioning apologized for his behavior. I can not really believe this doctors attitude allows him to stay in business.
