So - how have I not quit exercising in 7 months? Having an at home program gives me no excuse. I have a schedule and I only need 30 minutes to get it done. I'm enjoying having lost five pounds and seeing zero weight gain. The last 3 months I have been adding muscle tone and feeling amazing.

WHO is going to join me on May 5th in my new challenge group? I'll be doing 25 minutes a day, five days a week, maybe you want to do something easier or even more challenging. I will help you choose and cheer you along to the finish.

Moving to Colorado from Chicago means sunny days and beautiful white snow and pretty much no salt on the roads…  #icyroads #pumpthosebrakes

Cute!  A great idea for a blog!
Hello world.  It's my first post!  Yesterday I made cupcakes and they sort of turned out looking like baby shower cupcakes which is not the look I was going for.  I made the cupcakes vanilla with blue butter cream icing and f...

Well, this is the final post of the “Getting Groceries Under Control” series in February.  All month I menu planned, shopped deals, and recorded all my transactions.  My goal was to stay under $400 this month, specifically $3...

Afraid of failure
Shoot. It happened again. I started to give up before I'd even started. I have struggled as long as I can remember with giving up.  I have a list of about 2 things that I've ever stuck with, finished and become good at.  I need to focus on that tiny list an...

This cute local restaurant was a great place for our family. The kids loved chocolate chip pancakes (not on the menu but can be requested) and the hashbrowns and eggs were wonderful. We tried the Mac's Stack which included 2 eggs, hashbrowns, italian sausage and roasted red peppers, plus toast. It was really good! The kids definitely want to go back. The staff/owners were so friendly and calm despite the rush of a Saturday morning. If you love diner food that is NOT greasy but tastes homemade - head over there!

Dr. Hicken is very friendly and has a lot of experience. He took the time to explain my daughter's orthodontic needs and also is not rushing her into braces at 8 years old. He also wrote a long recommendation to my dentist so he would be aware of her orthdontic plan. The office is not pushy and not overly expensive. I highly recommend this doctor.

What a disappointment. We had a craving for some fried fish and Buffalo Joes came to mind. Unfortunately the fish was very overcooked and dried out. We ordered catfish, white fish and chicken nuggets and could not tell them apart. It was expensive for the amount of food and the quality was really bad.
