I was SHOCKED this place existed. The food was excellent. The service was fast. The setting was PERFECT. Very cool, laid back crowd. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Don't bother...very overpriced, crowded, mediocre food along with substandard service, and very loud, more of bar than a restaurant, if you want a relaxing meal where you can hear each other talk, avoid this place, very disappointed.

Abby Lane is a cute place tucked away in the Theater District. I LOVE their cheese & meats plate which is perfect for 2-4 as an appetizer. Their cocktail menu is very diverse and having tried most of the flatbreads on their menu, they are delicious! Everything is made from scratch so you can easily customize an order and they also typically have specials.

Given how much I loved Jason Santos' spot Blue Inc. before it closed, this is another one of his restaurants that offers unique fare and fun cocktails. Slightly off the beaten path in the heart of the theater district but great for a special night out or pre-show meal

The reason for my rating is as follows: Excellent food! Excellent wait staff! Missing discount that was promised to us. If you see a theater show before dinner, you are to receive a discount on your meal. We told our waitress of this and she said she would take care of us. I didn't even think of checking before I paid the bill and left but she never gave us a discount. Not the end of the world but she clearly did NOT "take care of us". If you ask for the theater discount, bring your receipt or ticket stub to dinner and MAKE SURE you bill reflects the discount before you leave.

The grilled shrimp sandwich and avacado and quinoa salad were exceptional, as was the bartendress. Total do over.
