The largest OAS tournament yet with 99 archers competing!

Schools from both the Los Angeles and San Diego Middle & High School Conferences battled it out in our last competition of the school year! A BIG THANK YOU to everyone for coming out and to our sponsors Easton Foundations, Easton, Hoyt, and our host club CSULB Archery.

When the 2012-2013 Competition Season started, San Diego finally had enough schools to warrant their own Conference!

By the 2012-2013 School Year, OAS began hosting workshops in Florida as our program continued to expand.

This workshop was held at the FCA school gymnasium in High Springs Florida. Both students and parents attended. Coach Phil Graves covered topics that included the National Training System, parts of the Olympic bow, the value of stretch band drills, archery etiquette and tournament preparation. At the end of the workshop there was a lively Q&A session.

The 2012 OAS California State Championships was large enough that our center could not accommodate all the archers! Glendale High School rose to the occasion and hosted both Middle and High School Archers on their football field.

Our 2nd OAS California State Championships consisted of a Ranking Round, Team Round, and Olympic Round! Schools from the LA Conference and SD Conference were in attendance. Awards were given to the top performing athletes.
