Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling:

"I could end the deficit in 5 minutes," he told CNBC. "You just
pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more
than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible
for re-election.

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds)
took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple!
The people demanded it. That was in 1971 - before computers, e-mail,
cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year
or less to become the law of the land - all because of public pressure.

Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to
a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask
each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will
have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed
around.

Congressional Reform Act of 2012

1. No Tenure / No Pension.

A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no
pay when they're out of office.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social
Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the
Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into
the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the
American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all
Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and
participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the
American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void
effective 12/1/12. The American people did not make this
contract with Congressmen/women.

Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in
Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their
term(s), then go home and back to work.

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will
only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive
the message. Don't you think it's time?

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!

If you agree, pass it on. If not, delete.
You are one of my 20+ - Please keep it going, and thanks

The food is good. But I wouldn't go there when it's hot, because it's only hotter inside and more humid. The service is really good. The price per wing is better than most places in town.

For the price, the room does not provide many amenities. The heater appliances had a lot of rust on them and everything felt outdated. The TV was grainy, which I'm not really sure how that's even possible in this day and age. For $250 a night, what you're paying for really is the location and the secluded intimate cabin feel. This just wasn't my cup of tea, especially at the price. The rooms still use regular keys to give you a feel of the place. The staff was very friendly and accommodating however. Overall it was a nice cozy place, but for the price it would've been cheaper and more accommodating to go to a motel.

This place is great 90% of all our hardware purchases are made here. Their selection is good and cheaper than other hardware stores. Sometimes specialty screws fasteners aren't there. Their staff is usually helpful.

SEARS is one of the few places in the mall that are left for a man. Tools, BBQ stuff, etc. Most other stores are catered to women or teenagers. Their staff are usually friendly and helpful. They close earlier than the mall itself.

After waiting a few weeks I was finally able to get into this place. I had been to the chain in New Mexico and it was great. I had a craving for their green chili burger from Hatch. I tried other places to try to satisfy my craving, but it wasn't the same. I ordered the LOTA burger with green chili. The bun was good with a good texture. The burger was nice and juicy with lots of flavor. The veggies were fresh. Finally, the green chili was AMAZING! You can actually taste the green chili, unlike other places. The fries aren't anything to write home about, but they're good. Good balance, just the right amount of crispiness with good flavor; not over salted. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. They were very attentive. I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers were saying. The soda is self serve so I don't know how "they" could mess up your drink. The place is kinda small, and being relatively new is was a little crowded around dinner time. They only have one soda dispenser which is one of the fancy touch screen ones where you can add different flavors. But, it causes you to wait as the people in front of you goes flavor crazy. All-in-all I was very satisfied and will be going here often.
