Compared to flipping on the switch and burning electricity, yep it probably does. Handling wood is going to be labor intensive no matter how you do it. I'm always open to better ideas, but I couldn't find one on youtube so I posted mine. In facilities that burn wood for power generation for a living, the process is very intensive. More so than mine. I felt like mine was scaled down quite a bit compared to the pros and I certainly burn less diesel per unit of wood. Of course I don't produce 5 megawatts either so there's that.
