Kill team: first impressions
Well, I've finally done it! I've played kill team, not once but twice! After all these weeks of pondering and planning and musing, I have finally been able to see what all the fuss is about. After two games I can say that I really like kill team and can see...

Congratulations on the milestone! The main reason I started blogging a few years ago was to keep a record for myself of all my ideas and hobbies as well. I've enjoyed visiting and commenting occasionally over the last few years and I look forward to seeing what your up to in the future.

I agree that this is weird and doesn't fit the fluff very well. I think they probably went with saim-hann as red does look very striking and compliments well with the blue of the ultra marines.

Unfortunately primaris marines are here to stay and I expect that we will see the old school marines gradually phased out, but physically and lore wise over the next 5 or so years. I doubt that we will see many new books with classic marines as the hero and we certainly won't see any new releases for them. There is still a long way to go to replace all the units with primaris equivalents or replacements, I just hope that when they do they keep the variety in the chapters and we don't just end up with red, green or blue marines.

I think these days blogs are very much out of fashion but Instagram and Facebook just can't match the depth of a good blog. Forums across many hobby interests have been out of favour for a long time it seems, many of the car forums I use to frequent have pretty much died a death, kept alive by a few hard core followers. Facebook groups have definitely taken over that mantle.

Blogging for personal reason\record is the way forward for now, hopefully the medium will pick up again in the future.

Any chance of a scale shot with a genestealer or similar. This thing looks huge, but it hard to judge on its own.

That's the issue with the good old internet, it turns everybody in to keyboard warriors. It's the final of a big tournament, there would have been official people watch and I'm sure that someone would have said something had they felt he was purposely slow playing. At the end of the day, he turned up and gave it his best shot. I'm sure lots of the keyboard warriors out there had the chance to compete but didn't bother or didn't make the grade and are just finding something\anything to moan about.

How the Big FAQ will effect me.
Well, we've had a few days to digest the new FAQ and look at the repercussions to our armies. While most of us who are not tournament players will probably find that there has been very little impact, there are a few tweaks that no doubt will need to be mad...
