Fulfillment update and more Twin Stars!
Posted by Jason Tagmire (Creator)
Hey everyone! It's our fulfillment month and I wanted to come in here and give an update as to where we are with everything. If you don't know our process, we order in parts and hand assemble here in NJ, then ship everything out. There are quite a bit of parts with this game (due to the deluxe and stretches mostly), but we have two hold-outs.
The rules need to be perfect, so I've been working on them and I'm bouncing them around for final review before we order the rules. They only take about 7-10 days to arrive once ordered, and in order to arrive at the same time as everything else, I have about a week or so to get the order in. If anyone who has played the game with the prototype rules wants a peek to comment on the clarity, just let me know.
2) Twin Stars
Twin Stars was our 3 card little stretch goal game and the idea goes well beyond the 3 cards. We wanted to create an interchangeable system of 3 card sets where you could pull in a character from one with a scenario from another, etc... So in order to make sure all of this would work, we had to make some more sets. It took a few weeks to iron everything out and we are in the absolute last few days of it. But it's been coming along very well and we're excited about it. So once we wrap this up, we'll be ordering the Twin Stars sets as well.
So where does that place fulfillment?
Well it looks like everything will be here by the end of the month. If you are local, you may be able to grab yours just in time before September is over and we enter the late delivery territory. But
since we hand assemble it all, I assume we will be assembling and shipping for 2 weeks. With day jobs, I get the most shipping done on Sundays, and I think packages will likely be going out from Monday Oct 3rd to Monday Oct 17th. I would also expect the PNPs to be sent to everyone on Monday September 19.
If anything changes here I will let everyone know.
More Twin Stars
If you are interested in more Twin Stars (and I know that you don't even have the first yet) the second set is the $10,000 stretch goal at our Pentaquark campaign. It's likely to reach $10,000 pretty soon at the rate it's been going. The second scenario is The Quark Star, designed by Mike Mullins, who has been instrumental in designing and developing Twin Stars in general. (And the third scenario will be part of our November campaign for Universal Rule, a 4X game that's played in just 18 cards.)
Here's a look at it:

If you aren't interested in Pentaquark, we will have it for sale later, but Pentaquark is a REALLY good solo game. The reviews are excellent and the traction on Kickstarter is unlike anything we've seen here. Well we've seen that darn Fidget Cube... :)
Thanks everyone! Thanks for your patience and please contact me if you want to give the rules a peek or if you have any questions.
