A casual mainstay for Japanese classics, with an extensive menu, also known for body-sushi events.- Google

Went with my wife and we had a great time. Food was delicious and service was excellent. We started with a tuna tartar, then ordered a miyako and salmon crunchy roll, and topped it off with thai donuts. Everything was incredibly good and the best part was how fresh the food was. Can't wait to be back!

I've been to other Miyako locations and have always had great service/food. This Doral location is the worst restaurant i've been to in a while. I came here for lunch with a coworker and after an hour we still hadn't even gotten our appetizers. We had to go back to the office so we asked the manager for our meal to go. When we paid the bill we noticed she had included gratuity which I found highly unprofessional once we told the manager we weren't happy with the service. Not only that, but one of the waitresses was toting around her crying child as she was waiting tables. Once I actually ate the food back in my office I was not impressed at all by the quality. Maybe I went on a bad day since this location has surprisingly great reviews, but I know I personally will never go back to this Miyako location.

If you like sushi from chains like sushi sake or sushi make then this place will be fine. But for real sushi conoseurs this place is not japanese authentic. I tried the sushi and it's a mush of sauces but you can't really savor the ingredients. The vegetable sup was bland. And the ebi sushi (raw shrimp with rice) they were sweet! Tell me what shrimp comes sweet... anyways do not recomend for those who's palettes know their sushi!

Meilleur sushi au monde!!! Un génie de la cuisine!!! It’s a must go restaurant in Miami!!! I travel all over and have had sushi in several places. This place was recommended from a local friend and it did not disappoint. I have been here twice in the past year and the sushi is absolutely the best I have ever had. This is an amazing sushi restaurant and every dish is a wonderful experience. The restaurant is small, reservations are a must! We got to the restaurant a little before our reservation; there is a small waiting area by the sushi bar just to the left of the entrance. We were offered a beer while we waited...very much appreciated... You can choose to eat at the bar where you can watch the chef work or sit at a table. The service is fast and friendly; the waiters know their sushi and explain every plate they bring. All in all...if you try this place will be hooked for life!

It was the Best Valentines Day Dinner I have ever had. The portions were right and the food quality and preparation were excellent. It was a 7 course menu and it had no flaws in any part of it. The best part was only $120 per couple; I added 2 hours of unlimited Champagne for only $20. Total we had a blast; we ate like gods, drank like angels and thank you for the rest of the night. I cannot wait to see what this restaurant is going to do next, but I will be back soon.

Read a review on another site about how after placing their order and waiting for ~25 minutes, the waitress returned only to tell us there was an issue with the system and that she had to retake our order. We ended up waiting about an hour and 30 minutes for our meal. What's funny, is that what happened to us identically matched what happened to the customer in the review we read, so this was not an isolated incident. As for food, it was average at best. One of us had ordered a chicken teriyaki that arrived cold, we also had issues (Despite repeating it) with our order and one of us received a completely different plate from what they ordered. Wouldn't recommend to anyone, wish the food was half as good as how the place looked.
