Best Italian restaurant in Boston. Consistently excellent food and top notch service. Also good for special occasions where they don't fleece you like a lot of restaurants with a bogus special menu with tiny portions and big prices - just the regular menu which is superb. Also great wine list with very reasonable markups.

I've lived in Boston for years and never been to Prezza! What a mistake! I went on a Sunday evening with a party of 6 for my Dad's birthday. It was a party of 6. We got a few salads to start and 2 desserts to split. It's a group that loves their liquor, and it came to about $590 (with tip). Not too bad! But not cheap. Details: Staff: the staff was accommodating, nice, thoughtful, and came over not too much but not too little. She had good recommendations, too! Wish I could remember out waitress' name! Ambience: the music was great--not too loud, but when I did notice it, it was always something fun and either an oldy or just catchy. Salads: We had the 'gem' and another salad. Both were great, big so we ordered 3 and split them. Drinks: I had a great glass of rose, I know other people enjoyed their wines and cocktails. I think the bartender did a great job b/c my dad, his brother, and my aunt kept ordering their original drink rather than switching to wine! Main courses: 3 people I came with had the pork chop, and they were obsessed with it. Completely happy with their choice. It was giant, but they all said they'd come back and get that again. 2 had the gnocchi--it was really great. Tiny little gnocchi in a wonderful sauce. I couldn't finish, but it was really great. 1 had the chicken parm. She loved it and could only make it through about half and took the rest home for dinner. Desserts: We had a chocolate cake and a lemoncello cheesecake. Both were fun and festive, but I love chocolate, so that gets higher reviews from me. Great place for a celebration! (And for parents)

Had a pretty decent meal here with friends; our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to help us narrow down the list of many great options. He raved about the Corn Raviolini (which he said people wait all year for), and it did not disappoint. A truly well drafted dish, with pancetta and rock shrimp, great flavor all around. The place was very well priced, and a definite stand out among the many North End Italian restaurants.

Great spot in the North End! Service was great, location/interior was great, and the amazing menu made it hard to only choose one! The waiter said they change some items seasonally, and made a point to mention his favorites on the menu. It's an upscale place, but it didn't feel pretentious at all! Quality food with a great vibe.

tony's portions are well worth the price! he adds a touch of class to the ne and does it with taste and style! if you want a more casual experience grab a seat at the bar and enjoy their vast wine list, one of the best in the ne.
