This happen a few years back. I purchased a new F150 truck from Bill Kay. I brought it back a week later for a few things that I purchase at the time of the sale. I was driving down the street 2 days later and noticed my truck in the middle of the street involved in an accident. One of the sales people decided to take it home for the night and got hit by another car. Bill Kay did nothing for me. They said my insurance had to pay for it. Don't buy from this place.

We purchased our Ford Fiesta in June 2014 and were very disappointed with all the hassles post-sale. We only received one key with our vehicle, the title took 30 days to get to us in the mail, and it took 7 weeks to cancel our extended service plan, even though we did so within four days via certified mail. The hassle and headache of getting a second key made was far more than I had imagined, as we had to travel to three different local Ford dealerships to get the right key made. Not being able to register our car until the final day possible was a stress as well, since my husband had to take off work to turn in the paperwork to the county on the only day possible. The biggest headache was trying to cancel our Extended Service Plan, which we had every right to cancel, but Bill Kay dragged their feet to make it as difficult as possible. I have never in my life posted a bad review about another company or product, but I reached my limit with Bill Kay Ford.

My experience was very positive. The internet contact was very helpful, informative and professional ... the major reason I visited the dealership. Interactions with a Sales Manager, followed by working with a salesman were smooth with no surprises other than a lower than expected offer for my trade-in. Can't say it was totally surprising, but money will be invested in the old car and then I will sell it privately. My concerns were heightened by reading some testimonials on this site and I openly discussed them with the internet contact [Ali] and Sales Manager [Dave]. Each of their responses were direct and understandable. Concerns disappeared.

Purchased a new Taurus on Feb. 7, 2014. Easiest auto purchase I have ever made! Initially went in to simply get information, and it was given to me freely! There was NO pressure to look at cars, appraise a trade or anything. Simply answered my questions! Went back next day to look at the specific car and had a price in mind to pay for the car, and what I wanted for trade in. Trade came in higher than expected and the price was right in line with what I wanted! I really didn't haggle at all! Thanks to Stan Gibson, Michael Anthony, and Kathy in finance!

I initially purchased a vehicle from Bill Kay Ford in May of 2013, a 2004 Chevy Impala financed through Greater Suburban Acceptance (GSAC), I put over $1000 down, with a note of $293 a month. I was informed by the salesman that after 6 months I can come back trade car in for a newer car, well I did that and I was turned down. Let me not forget that I called back in to the dealership that my a/c was not working the second day after having the car and I was told that I was on my own for repairs, okay I took that being that it was "as is" warranty. I then was informed that after a year to come back as long as I pay my note on time, it will help re establish my credit, and I did that too. I went to dealership around June/July 2014, got exact same treatment from the 6 month visit. I was they would not take my car as a trade, saying the payoff is too much than the car is worth, I guess forgetting they're the ones who sold it to me at that rate. I was told that the company was under new management to come in and they will work with me, I went back to Bill Kay, was told to see Will in sales and when he saw me, this man looked at me, walked out and drove off, then another salesman was handed my info and he literally did not want to assist me, and ran my credit "AGAIN", so called appraised my car, told me that the bank was closed and he would call me the next day. I NEVER got that call. So I recently got a call from salesm, that GSAC approved me for a loan fro being a premier customer to come in and look at cars. I explained to him that I was highly disappointed in Bill Kay and GSAC for he above treatment. Needless to say, I gave it another try, went in on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at noon I did not leave there until 4pm, I explained to the salesman I did not want to come there and get same treatment, well supposedly I was approved to get a car with no money down and apparently the car was not there, I was asked to come back Monday when the car arrives. called Monday, was informed the car was there, then I was transferred to another man who told me the car was indeed there however that the bank that approved me Saturday I is not approving me Monday, they wanted money down that I did not have, and so long story short, I am still in this 2004 Impala, with a payoff of $7,000, no loan approval, and still highly disgusted with Bill Kay Ford for easting my time yet again.

I stopped by Bill Kay to find a dependable used vehicle for my kid to use at school. We were looking for any one of 4 cars, but it had to be a manual transmission. During our research, we had a challenge locating one of these cars with a stick shift. We spoke with Fred, the general manager, and he asked us if we could give him a week to see what he could locate. Since we had been looking for a few weeks anyway, we agreed. In just 2 days, Fred called me and said that he found a car on our list. We drove down from Bolingbrook and saw a car in great shape with low mileage! Even better, the price for the car was right in line with others that we saw online. After working out the deal, we drove home with the car an hour-and-a-half later. I was so impressed with how we were treated. It was a no pressure sale, and we knew that we got a good price. I will be back down the road, and I recommend Bill Kay Ford.

Hello i recently visited this location because I had received a coupon for a free appraisal of my car.and oil change. The visit initially was going well and then took a turn for the worst. For example, I waited almost an hour and a half for someone to explain to me why I had been waiting so long. The person who did the appraisal did not tell me he had finished. Next, I had to wait for another two hour to receive my car. Thirdly when I received my car back my wheel alignment was off. When I notice this I called back and the person I spoke to in the service department was not very hospitable at all. The only resolution he had for the problem was for me to put my car on the rack for $57.00 or call back and talk with the service manager. I called and it was as almost as brutal as my visit I was on hold for almost an hour. I never spoke with anyone, so I ended my call. . Which was to me absurd seeing how i brought my car in and there was not any steering problem prior. On a brighter note i did get my problem resolved, but it was at Bill Kay. My wheel alignment issue has been resolved and my car is back to normal. I can say one good thing thanks for the lesson.

The President and owner of many dealerships in the state of Illinois (Bill Kay) knows how to run a business. He fully understands a customers needs and will work with you in order to fix problems that arise. I had various problems with his dealership & he wen't above and beyond in order to clarify and remedy the situations that became problematic. The next time I need a vehicle I will be going to one of his dealerships, without a doubt. The general manager of Bill Kay Ford (Mark Bowen) needs to learn how to remain professional and courteous to customers while keeping his attitude and anger in check. However, thanks to Bill Kay himself, I will continue to remain a customer for many years (and refer others to his dealerships). Thank you Bill Kay! PS: A salesman by the name of "OC" at Bill Kay Ford was a great help and during my search for a vehicle and throughout the buying process was a phenomenal person to work with, Thanks OC!
